Answer:

D. 23.9 liters

Explanation:

 • Molarity is defined as the no. of moles of solute dissolved in 1.0 L of the solution.

M = (no. of moles)solute / (V of the solution (L))

M = (mass/molar mass)NaCl / (V of the solution (L))

M = 0.03 M, mass of NaCl = 42.0 g, molar mass = 58.44 g/mol.

∴ V of the solution = (mass/molar mass)NaCl / M = [(42.0 g/58.44 g/mol)] / (0.03 M) = 23.96 L.

So, the right choice is: D. 23.9 liters

Compare the intermolecular forces, dipole-dipole and hydrogen-bonding. What would you suggest is the biggest different between t
Angelina_Jolie [31]
Both the dipole-dipole and hydrogen are essentially same because they result form formation of partial negative and positive charges on the atoms constituting a given molecule. in such molecule, one atom is more electronegative than the other and therefore pulls the shared electrons more to itself than the other atom. the atom that pulls a pair of electrons more to itself becomes partially negatively charged whereas the other atom becomes partially positively charge. the weak negative charges on one molecule attracts weak positive charge on the other molecule creating intermolecular forces referred to as dipole-dipole bonds. Hydrogen bonds form in the same manner they are stronger than typical dipole-dipole bonds. so according to the explanation above D is the correct answer.

How does examining past data help prepare people for feature weather hazards?
klemol [59]

Answer:

It lets people prepare for future weather hazards:

- If, in certain months and on certain dates, the past data shows that there's a history of rain or heat stroke on those days, people can prepare in the future for those events.

- They can also expect wind speeds, temperatures and stuff like that!
