Assuming Clara is...

  • a teen, her required adequate intake (RAI)=  1300 mg/ day
  • an adult, her RAI= 1000 mg/day

For teenaged Clara

∵27 % DV= 270mg

% daily Calcium=  \frac{270}{1300}  * 100= = 20.8 ≈ 21%

=0.21
