Since it is a square we can use the rules for a 45-45-90 right triangle or Pythagorean Theorem to solve.
Using 45-45-90 rules:
When you cut the square down the diagonal you create a 45-45-90 right triangle with the hypotenuse = 44 in.
The rule is: hyp = sqrt2 * leg
                    44 = sqrt2 * leg
Divide both sides by the square root of 2 to find the leg.
                     31 = leg
To find the perimeter of the square, the length needed to make a frame, multiply the length of the leg by 4.
31 * 4 = 124 in

Transformation involves changing the position of a shape.

The transformation from \triangle ABC to \triangle A'B'C' is 90 degrees clockwise rotation

Using the coordinates of A and A', we have:

A= (-6,3)

A'= (3,6)

Notice that the x-coordinate is negated and then swapped with the y-coordinate.

i.e.

(x,y) \to (y,-x)

The transformation of a point from (x,y) to (y,-x) is a 90 degrees clockwise rotation.

Hence, the transformation from \triangle ABC to \triangle A'B'C' is 90 degrees clockwise rotation

A credit card company charges 18% simple interest for overdue accounts. How much interest will Kristen owe three months from now
Ber [7]

Answer: The amount that Kristen would owe three months from now is $67.5

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for determining simple interest is expressed as

I = PRT/100

Where

I represents interest paid on the loan.

P represents the principal or the current balance.

R represents interest rate

T represents the duration for which the account is overdue in years.

From the information given,

P = 1500

R = 18%

T = 3 months = 3/12 = 0.25 year

I = (1500 × 18 × 0.25)/100 = $67.5
