The answer would have to be C because he cannot sell negative hats or infinitely many because he only has 300 to sell in the first place. Answer choice D makes no sense because there is no value of x that is less than zero and greater than 500.

Correct option - C

Let's analyse all the options
1. x is greater than or equal to 20.This isn't possible as if x = 20 ,hats would come in negative

2. All real numbers is of course not possible.

3. This makes sense, because the amount will be not in negative and 300 hats has to be sold first.

4.Not possible.As 'x' can't be less than 0 or greater than 500

Hope This Helps You!

How many times will 70 divide by 2
Andru [333]
I presume you mean how many times will 70 divide by 2 to give a whole number. 70 will divide once by two to give a whole number.
However if you did not mean this then 70 will divide infinitely many times by 2 each time getting an answer closer to 0.

-14x + 15y = 15
-21x - 20y = -10
Use substitution to find the x and y coordinates.
denis-greek [22]
                  -14x + 15y = 15
        -14x + 14x + 15y = 14x + 15
                             15y = 14x + 15
                              15           15
                                 y = ¹⁴/₁₅x + 1
                   -21x - 20y = -10
     -21x - 20(¹⁴/₁₅x + 1) = -10
-21x - 20(¹⁴/₁₅x) - 20(1) = -10
         -21x - 18²/₃x - 20 = -10
                  -39²/₃x - 20 = -10
                            + 20  + 20
                          -39²/₃x = 10
                           -39²/₃   -39²/₃
                                   x = ⁻³⁰/₁₁₉
                                   y = ¹⁴/₁₅x + 1
                                   y = ¹⁴/₁₅(⁻³⁰/₁₁₉) + 1
                                   y = ⁻²⁸/₁₁₉ + 1
                                   y = ⁹¹/₁₁₉
                              (x, y) = (⁻³⁰/₁₁₉, ⁹¹/₁₁₉)
