The boiling of water and sublimation of iodine crystals are endothermic processes.

Answer: Option B & C

Explanation:

Endothermic process are the classifications of chemical reactions where the heat is absorbed by the system from the surroundings. As the matters can exists in three phases like solid, liquid and gases.

The endothermic process occurs by absorption of heat energy by the system. So according to the given options, the boiling of water and iodine crystal sublimation follows endothermic process. In the boiling of water occurs when the water molecules absorb heat from the surrounding and convert to gas phase.

Similarly, the sublimation of iodine crystals also require heat energy from the surrounding to break the bonds of the iodine crystals to sublimate to gas phase. Thus the boiling of water and sublimation of iodine crystals are the examples of endothermic processes.

How do you convert kilograms to pounds?
Maru [420]

Answer:  (1 Kilogram = 2.20462 pounds) . There are 2.2046226218 lb in 1 kilogram. To convert kilograms to pounds, multiply your figure by 2.205 for an approximate result. 1 kilogram is also equal to 2 lb and 3.27396195 oz. Working out a rough estimate in your head for converting to pounds and ounces may be tricky - remember that there are 16 ounces in a pound.

NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

The question is not complete, the complete question should be "Lipids vesicles are formed containing pure water. If these vesicles are transferred to a solution that contains a rather high concentration of solutes, the solution outside the vesicle is said to be Hypertonic. True or False"

The answer is True

Explanation:

This is because  it contains greater concentration of solutes on the outside of the cell than the increase.

In other words hypertonic solutions have more concentrate of solutions on the outside than the inside.
