Answer: Neutron matter is equivalent to a chemical element with atomic number 0, which is to say that it is equivalent to a species of atoms having no protons in their atomic nuclei. Neutron matter decays quickly into hydrogen. Neutron matter has no electronic structure on account of its total lack of electrons.

What is the deference between dalton theory and modern atomic theory
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

Dalton's says atoms of different elements differ in size and mass, whereas the modern theory says they differ in average mass. Dalton's says atoms are individual particles, whereas the modern theory says atoms are divisible into subatomic particles like protons, neutrons, and electrons..

How many atoms of carbon are in a container that has 0.450 mol of CO2 and 2.55 mol of CaC2?
Fantom [35]

Answer:

The number of carbon atoms in the container is 1.806 × 10²⁴ or the container contains 1.806 × 10²⁴ atoms of carbon

Explanation:

By Avogadro's number, 1 mole of a substance contains 6.02 × 10²³ particles of the substance

Here we have 0.45 mole of CO₂ contains

0.45 × 6.02 × 10²³ particles of CO₂ that is 2.709 × 10²³ particles of CO₂ or equivalent to 2.709 × 10²³ atoms of Carbon

Similarly, 2.55 moles of CaC₂ contains 2.55 × 6.02 × 10²³ particles of CaC₂ or 1.5351 × 10²⁴ atoms of Carbon

The total number of carbon atoms is therefore;

2.709 × 10²³ + 1.5351 × 10²⁴ = 1.806 × 10²⁴ atoms of carbon.

Determine how many grams of N2 are produced from the reaction of 8.37 g of H2O2 and 5.29 g of N2H4.
Dmitriy789 [7]
N₂H₄  +  2H₂O₂    →   N₂  +  4H₂O

mol = mass ÷ molar mass

If mass of hydrazine (N₂H₄)  = 5.29 g
then mol of hydrazine           = 5.29 g ÷ ((14 ×2) + (1 × 4))
                                              = 0.165 mol

mole ratio of hydrazine to Nitogen is     1   :  1
∴ if moles of hydrazine = 0.165 mol
then moles of nitrogen = 0.165 mol

Mass = mol × molar mass

Since mol of nitrogen (N₂)  = 0.165
then mass of hydrazine      = 0.165 × (14 × 2)
                                           = 4.62 g

How does latitude affect climate
Ulleksa [173]
The closer you get to the equator the warmest you will be. 10 degrees north is warmer than 80 degrees north, because 10 degrees north is closer to the equator. I don't know if that was helpful or not but, I tried to answer as best as I could.
