Make two equations from the information. Then graph them and see where they intersect. The answer is 62 miles. Plug 62 back into both equations and they should both be the same number.

Answer:

300 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

Prestige car rentals charges $44 per day plus 6 cents per mile

Let the distance will be covered by both = x miles

equation will be = 44+$0.06x ---(1)

Gateway Auto charges $35 per day plus 9 cents per mile.

35 + $0.09x-------- (2)

The number of miles will both companies charge the same price

44 + 0.06x = 35 + 0.09x

44 = 35 + 0.09x - 0.06x

44 = 35 + 0.03x

44 - 35 = 0.03x

9 = 0.03x

x = \frac{9}{0.03}

x = 300 miles

on 300 miles both companies charges the same price.

Pedro, Alex, and Jaime are having a three-point contest. Each boy takes six turns and records the number of three-pointers he sh
bazaltina [42]
First, reorder the numbers for each person.
The median is basically the middle number. If there are 2 middle numbers, then take the average of the two of them.

Pedro: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
The 2 middle numbers are 6 and 7. The average of 6 and 7 is 6.5 .
Median = 6.5

Alex: 3, 5, 5, 5, 9, 9
The 2 middle numbers are 5 and 5; so basically, the average is 5.
Median = 5

Jaime: 3, 4, 6, 8, 8, 9
The 2 middle numbers are 6 and 8 and thus, the average is 7.
Median = 7

So the answer should be Jaime.

Answer:

40

Step-by-step explanation:

Based on the Proportional Transversal Theorem, the three parallel lines hat intersects the two transversals, divides the transversal lines proportionally.

Therefore, we would have the following ratio:

28/35 = ?/50

Cross multiply

35*? = 50*28

35*? = 1,400

Divide both sides by 35

? = 1400/35

? = 40
