Answer:

Compression

Explanation:

I would think it would be compression because you are compressing the marshmallow, and pushing it down until its compact.

Viefleur [7K]

Answer:1.84

Explanation:

Given

Humming bird travels 1.2 m along a straight line at height of 3.4 m

Now bird drops 1.4 m to hover in front of the flower

So bird net displacement is

displacement=\sqrt{1.2^2+1.4^2}

displacement=\sqrt{3.4}

=1.84

The gyri and sulci on the brain greatly increase the brain’s surface area. How do you think this increase in surface area relate
MrRa [10]

Answer:

Increase in surface area leads to more chances for connections between neurons hence more possible learning

Explanation:

The brain appears wrinkled due to the presence of gyri and sulci. Sulci are the grooves in the brain while gyri are the folds. The two major functions of gyri and sulci are to lead to formation of brain divisions and increase the surface area of cerebral cortex. The formation of brain divisions is done by creating boundaries between the brain lobes thereby leading to division of the brain into two hemispheres. Moreover, by increasing the surface area of the brain, the cortex processes more information since more neurons are formed.

on earth a block is placed on a frictionless table. When a 50 North horizontal force is applied to the block, it accelerates at
melamori03 [73]

As per Newton's II law we know that

F = ma

here

F = applied unbalanced force

m = mass of object

a = acceleration of object

now it is given that force F = 50 N North applied on block on earth due to which block will accelerate by 4 m/s^2

so here from above equation

50 = m* 4

m = \frac{50}{4} = 12.5 kg

Now we took another situation where block is placed on surface of moon and again force F = 25 N is applied on the block

So we will again use Newton's II law

F = ma

25 = 12.5 * a

a = \frac{25}{12.5}

a = 2 m/s^2

so block will accelerate on moon by acceleration 2 m/s^2

To receive AM radio, you want an RLC circuit that can be made to resonate at any frequency between 500 and 1650 kHz. This is acc
kotykmax [81]

In RLC circuit the frequency of the circuit is also known as resonance frequency of the circuit

It is calculated by

f = \frac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\frac{1}{LC}}

now for the maximum value of the capacitance we will use minimum frequency as they depends inversely on each other

500* 10^3 = \frac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\frac{1}{3.83* 10^{-6}*C}}

1.01 * 10^{-13} = 3.83 * 10^{-6} * C

C = 2.65 * 10^{-8} farad

Now for minimum value of the capacitance

1650* 10^3 = \frac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\frac{1}{3.83* 10^{-6}*C}}

9.30 * 10^{-15} = 3.83 * 10^{-6} * C

C = 2.43 * 10^{-9} farad

So above is the values of maximum and minimum capacitance
