Mathematics

first off, let's recall that a full-go-around on the circle is 2π.

so 13π is really 2π + 2π + 2π + 2π + 2π + 2π + π.

so it really goes around the circle 6 times, and then an extra +π, landing the angle at π, so csc(13π) is pretty much the same as csc(π).

\bf csc(\pi )\implies \cfrac{1}{sin(\pi )}\implies \stackrel{\stackrel{und efined}{\downarrow }}{\cfrac{1}{0}}

What is the distance between the points (4,5) and (10,13) on a coordinate plane?
Readme [11.4K]
The distacne between the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is
D=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}
so the distance between (4,5) and (10,13) is
well, first
x1=4
y1=5
x2=10
y2=13
so

D=\sqrt{(10-4)^2+(13-5)^2}
D=\sqrt{(6)^2+(8)^2}
D=\sqrt{36+64}
D=√100
D=10
the distance is 10 units

A square pyramid has a height of 12 feet. Each side to of base is 7 feet long. use the following formula to calculate the pyrami
MissTica
Let's find the area of the base first:
7×7=49
The S stands for the sides of the base. Since you are multiplying them by each other, you are basically squaring them.

Let's now multiply the area of the base by the height.
49×12=588

Now, let's multiply by 1/3.
588×1/3 or 588÷3
196

So, the volume is 196 ft³.

A cylinder has a radius of 8 meters and a height of 4 meters. .
Novay_Z [31]
<h2><u>Solution</u> :-</h2>

Given : Radius of cylinder = 8 m

Height = 4 m

Volume of cylinder = πr²h cu. units

= 22/7 × 8 × 8 × 4 m³

= 804.57 m³ (approx.)

Curved surface area = 2πrh sq. units

= 2 × 22/7 × 8 × 4 m²

= 201.14 m² (approx.)

Total surface area = 2πr(r + h) sq. units

= 2 × 22/7 × 8 (8 + 4) m²

= 2 × 22/7 × 8 × 12 m²

= 603.43 (approx.)
