Hi,

Answer: A. At night

<u>My work:</u> Land breezes can sometimes be confused with sea breezes, but the difference is that Land breezes happen overnight while sea breezes happen over hot summer days. They are also alike because a sea breeze is what makes a land breeze because it is a breeze that travels over sea onto land during the night, but also carrying the warmth of the sea breeze.

A. At night is your answer

Land breezes will occur during the night, as the temperature difference between the sea and land is fairly the same, which means that heat would escape out of the water faster instead of the land (as the water stores most of the heat from the day-time)

hope this helps

In 1898, the world land speed record was set by Gaston Chasseloup-Laubat driving a car named Jeantaud. His speed was 39.24 mph (
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

the acceleration a^{\to} = (0.0159 \ \ m/s^2 )i

Explanation:

Given that:

the initial speed v₁ = 0 m/s i.e starting from rest ; since the car accelerates at a distance Δx = 6 miles in order to teach that final speed v₂ of 63.15 km/h.

So;  the acceleration for the first 6 miles can be calculated by using the formula:

v₂² = v₁² + 2a (Δx)

Making acceleration  a the subject of the formula in the above expression ; we have:

v₂² - v₁² = 2a (Δx)

a = \dfrac{v_2^2 - v_1^2 }{2 \Delta x}

a = \dfrac{(63.15 \ km/s)^2 - (0 \ m/s)^2 }{2 (6 \ miles)}

a = \dfrac{(17.54 \ m/s)^2 - (0 \ m/s)^2 }{2 (9.65*10^3 \ m)}

a =0.0159 \ m/s^2

Thus;

Assume the car moves in the +x direction;

the acceleration a^{\to} = (0.0159 \ \ m/s^2 )i

Work is done on an object when
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

Incomplete question but the closest ans is

A) The displacement is not zero

Explanation:

For work to be done, the direction of force has to be parallel to or in the same direction as the displacement, this can then be calculated by

W=Fs   \ cosθ

Where θ is the angle between direction of force and direction of displacement

By this equation,

if Force is zero, W is zero

if displacement is zero, W is zero

if force and displacement are perpendicular θ=90, cosθ = 0

So A is the cloest choices

Descriptive investigations involve collecting data about a system, but not making observations .
Angelina_Jolie [31]
The correct statement should be: Descriptive investigations involve collecting data about a system, but not making comparisons.
so i believe the statement above is false

In descriptive investigations, we shall not make any hypothesis for the situation and we just need to fully record all obeservations.
By doing this, we could fully analyze the variables without comparing and manipulating it.
