Why do you think the speed of sound is higher<br> in solids, than liquids and gases?
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

Particles of a solid are closely packed, and  when a solid is hit to produce a sound the kinetic energy present in the solid will cause the particles to vibrate vigorously in the intermolecular spaces in the solid, whereas the paticles of liquids and gases are rather further apart therefore having large intermolecular spaces between particles.

What are Newton’s 3 laws
Vladimir79 [104]

Newton's First Law of Motion:

I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

Newton's Second Law of Motion:

II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

Newton's Third Law of Motion:

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

zimovet [89]

Answer:

a. Potencia = 250 Watts

b. Tiempo = 333.33 segundos

Explanation:

Dados los siguientes datos;

Energía = 5000 Joules

Tiempo = 20 segundos.

Para encontrar el poder;

Poder = energía/tiempo

Potencia = 5000/20

Potencia = 250 Watts

B. ¿Para saber cuánto tarda una máquina en realizar el mismo trabajo;

Dado: potencia = 15 W

Tiempo = energía/poder

Tiempo = 5000/15

Tiempo = 333.33 segundos

Why are fossils more commonly found in sedimentary rocks and not igneous rocks?
stiv31 [10]

The reason you only see fossils in sedimentary rock is that these set of rocks are formed in much lower pressure and temperature, compared to the other types of rocks like igneous rocks.
