Answer:

the final speed after attack is 69.09 km/h

Explanation:

lion weight = 173 kg

running northward at 82.7 km/hr

weight of gazelle = 36.2 kg

running eastward at 57.4 km/hr

using momentum conservation along north direction

(173) × (82.7)  = (173 + 36.2 ) × vₙ

vₙ = 68.38 km/h

using momentum conservation along east direction

36.2 × 57.4 =  (173 + 36.2 ) × vₓ

vₓ = 9.93 km/h

v = \sqrt{v^2_n+v^2_x} \\v = \sqrt{68.38^2+9.93^2}\\v=69.09 km/h

hence the final speed after attack is 69.09 km/h

A net force of 10 N accelerates an object at 5.0 m/s^2. What is the mass of the object? A. 2 kg B. 10 kg C. 5 kg D. 20 kg
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

A. 2 kg

Explanation:

Force = 10N\\Acceleration = 5.0m/s^2\\Mass = ? = x\\Force = mass\times acceleration \\10 = x \times 5\\10 = 5x \\\frac{10}{5} =\frac{5x}{5} \\2=x\\\\Mass= 2kg

A(n) ? is a premises wiring system whose power is derived from a source of electric energy or equipment other than a service. Su
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer: Separately derived system

Explanation: A separately derived system is used to describe a premise wiring system whose power is derived from a source of electrical energy such as transformer, solar photovoltaic cell or generator. A separately derived system has no direct connection to any conductor from another system or doesn't generate it's power from any direct connection to a conductor from another system or source except those from established from bonding or grounding connections. Separately derived systems usually generate it's power on it's own.
