H3PO4 + H2O <--> H3O+ + H2PO4- Ka1= ([H3O+][H2PO4-])/[H3PO4]) H2PO4- + H2O <--> H3O+ + HPO4^2- Ka2= ([H3O+][HPO4^2-])/[H2PO4-]) HPO4^2- + H2O <--> H3O+ PO4^3- Ka3= ([H3O+][PO4^3-])/[HPO4^2-]) Ka1 >> Ka2 = almost all the H3O+ is formed in the first step. Ka3 will only happen under very basic conditions.

Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

was difficult to place isotopes of elements as they have the same chemical properties but different atomic masses. It was not possible to predict how many elements could be discovered between two heavy elements as the rise in atomic mass is not uniform.

When carbon is burned in air, it reacts with oxygen to form carbon dioxide. When 14.4 g of carbon were burned in the presence of
Yanka [14]

Answer:

Mass of carbon dioxide produced = 52.8 g

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass of carbon react = 14.4 g

Mass of oxygen = 56.5 g

Mass of oxygen left = 18.1 g

Mass of carbon dioxide produced = ?

Solution:

C + O₂     →      CO₂

Number of moles of C:

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass

Number of moles = 14.4 g/ 12 g/mol

Number of moles = 1.2 mol

18.1 g of oxygen left it means carbon is limiting reactant.

Now we will compare the moles of C with CO₂.

                       C             :         CO₂

                        1             :          1

                      1.2           :          1.2

Mass of CO₂:

Mass = number of moles × molar mass

Mass = 1.2  mol × 44 g/mol

Mass = 52.8 g

How the Atmosphere affects the Biosphere pls help
guapka [62]

Answer:

Explanation:

Air pollutants also affect the biosphere in turn. Ozone and acid deposition suppress plant growth; meanwhile, aerosols and their indirect effects on clouds decrease total photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) while increasing the diffuse fraction.
