Newton’s First Law: any object that is in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. A car and brakes

2nd Law: force is mass x acceleration. Trucks take longer to accelerate since they weigh more but will hold a lot more force due to that weight if they are going fast

3rd Law: any action has an opositor and equally as strong reaction. When u jump off a small boat In the water you will go forward and you will push the boat back

The ms = 0.5645 and mk=0.1113 for a 30 N box on level ground. What level force is needed to start the box moving
nevsk [136]

Answer:

16.935 N

Explanation:

In order to make the box start moving, the level force applied on the box (F) must be greater than the force of static friction that keeps the box at rest, which is equal to

F_f = \mu_s (mg)

where

\mu_s = 0.5645 is the coefficient of static friction

(mg) = 30 N is the weight of the box

Therefore, the condition for F must be:

F \geq F_f\\F \geq \mu_k (mg)=(0.5645)(30 N)=16.935 N

So, the applied force must be greater than this value.

Individuals who suffer from a mental disorder are most likely to commit violent crimes. true or false
Damm [24]
That is true. Some people with mental disorders envision the world differently. Some people think that people are out to get them, they are in another world, etc. They will do anything to feel safe in their mental state.

I hope this helps!

Some good estimates about the human body can be made if it is assumed that we are made mostly of water. The mass of a water mole
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

mass of water molecule m=2.99\times 10^{-26}\ kg

mass of person M=62\ kg

It is given that body is mostly made up of water

suppose n water molecules constitutes 62 kg

so n\times m=M

n=\frac{62}{2.99\times 10^{-26}}

n=20.73\times 10^{26}\ kg

WITCHER [35]

Gravity is the force that pulls you down.
(This is kind of a duh! question ... How do we know
which way is "down" ?  We feel gravity, and we call
that the "down" direction.)

Magnetic force holds things to fridge doors.

Contact forces need to touch something in order to
exert their force.
Example:  Gravity is NOT a contact force.

I don't know about "rubbing things away".
This might be a description of friction, but if so,
it's not a good one.

Buoyant force is what keeps floating things floating.

Air resistance slows things down when they move in air.
