Remember
(x^m)(x^n)=x^{m+n}
and
if x^m=x^n where x=x then m=n
so
(2^m)(2^n)=2^{m+n}=2^{-6}
so
m+n=-6
so test the options

first one works
2nd ones doesn't
3rd one doesn't
4th one doesnt'

answer is first option, m=3 and n=-9

(2^m)(2^n) = 2^(-6)

(2^m)(2^n) = 2^(m+n) = 2^(-6)

Since 2 = 2 their exponent are equal:
m+n = - 6

if m = 3 and n = -9  then m+n = 3-9 = -6
And tge answer is 1. m=3 & n = -9

Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

14000

Explaination:

spwithvat = sp without vat + 13% of sp without vat

let, sp without vat be x.

sp with vat= x + 13% of x.

or, 13447 = x + 13/100 × x

or, 1344700 = 113x

or, x= 1344700/113

x = 11900

Let, mp be y.

sp with vat = mp - 15% of mp

or, 11900 = y - 15/100 × y

or, 1190000 = 85y

or, y= 1190000/85

y= 14000

Hi are you able to solve it by using a step called exponential equations?
andriy [413]

Given the equation:

6^{2-3x}=6^{-2x-2}

since both bases are 6, we can equate both exponents to get the following equation:

2-3x=-2x-2

solving for x, we get:

\begin{gathered} 2-3x=-2x-2 \\ \Rightarrow-3x+2x=-2-2=-4 \\ \Rightarrow-x=-4 \\ \Rightarrow x=4 \end{gathered}

therefore, the solution of the equation is x = 4
