Answer:

Distance between points R=(9,7,8) and origin is,

d = 13.9283 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to calculate the distance between the two points,

Where,

the first point is origin, i.e.

Q = (0,0,0)

and R = (9,7,8)

According to distance formula, the distance between two points can be given by

d\ =\ \sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2+(z_1-z_2)^2)}

   =\ \sqrt{(0-9)^2+|(0-7)^2+(0-8)^2)}

   =\ \sqrt{(-9)^2+(-7)^2+(-8)^2)}

   =\ \sqrt{81+49+64}

   =\ \sqrt{194}

   = 13.9283

Hence, the distance between two points R=(9,7,8) and origin is 13.9283 units.

Answer:

>

Step-by-step explanation:

The bars around the numbers symbolize absolute value. The absolute value of a number is its distance from 0. Since distance is always positive the absolute value is that number but positive. In this case, 7 is greater than 2. So, the answer is 7>2.

How do you multiply fractions?
vazorg [7]

It's easier then you'd expect it to be. There's no need to convert the fractions so that they all have a common denominator like you'd have to do when adding or subtracting fractions.

Let's take a look at something really simple.

\frac{1}{4} *\frac{2}{6}

We can multiply the numerators together so 1*2. We can multiply 4*6 to get the denominator.

This means that our fraction becomes \frac{2}{24}.

Now I'm assuming since you already know how to add fractions you'll know how to simply fractions. So 2/24 will become 1/12.
