st be at least 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide. The tiles in the mosaic have words written on them and the artist wants the words to all be horizontal in the final mosaic.The world tiles come in two sizes: the smaller tiles are 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, while the large tiles are 6 inches tall and 12 inches wide.if the small tiles cost $3:00 each and the large tiles cost $4.50 each,how many of each should be used to minimize the cost? 4 ft x 6 ft = 24 sq ft = 2160 sq in.
6 in. x 12 in. = 72 sq in.
(2160 sq in. / 72 sq in. = 30 large tiles.

30 large tiles to be used only.
The minimum cost is $135

Six large 12 in. wide by 6 in. tall tiles will create a mosaic that is 6ft wide and 3 feet tall. The artist should use 0 small tiles and 6 large tiles. The minimum cost of this is $27.00.

If a mat costs 9800kr, what combination of two reductions in it's price, which have to add up to 100%, e.g: The price was first
Gre4nikov [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

if a mat was 9800kr and the price was reduced by about 40% it would be 245 whereas another 60 would end up 980 itself so I'm not too sure as the cheapest alternative would be 40%

the altitude of A (in feet) of a plane T minutes after liftoff is given by a=3400t + 600. How many minutes after liftoff is the
____ [38]

If our equation is a = 3400t + 600, and we have a target altitude of 21,000, we just need to plug that in for a.

21,000 = 3,400t + 600. Now subtract 600 from both sides.

20,400 = 3,400t. now divide both sides by 3,400.

6 = t.

We get that our answer is at 6 minutes we get an altitude of 21,000 feet!

4.25 -2.5x = 14.75<br> I need help
shtirl [24]

\text {Hey! Let's Solve this Equation!}

\text {\underline {The First Step is to do Keep Change Change (KCC)}}

\text {Keep: 4.25}\\\text {Change: - into +}\\\text {Change: 2.5x into -2.5x}

\text {\underline {The Next Step is to Flip the Equation}}

\text {Before: 4.25+-2.5x=14.75}\\\text {After: -2.5x+4.25=14.75}

\text {\underline {The Next Step is to Subtract 4.25}}

\text {-2.5x+4.25-4.25=14.75-4.25=10.5}\\\text {-2.5x=10.5}

\text {\underline {The Final Step is to Divide -2.5}}

\text {-2.5x/-2.5=10.5/-2.5}

\text {Remember that Dividing a Positive to a Negative will Equal a Negative.}

\text {Your Answer Would Be:}

\fbox {x=-4.2}

\text {Best of Luck!}
