Answer:

ω₂ = 1.9025 x 10⁻⁶ rad/s

Explanation:

given,

mass of star = 1.61 x 10³¹ kg

angular velocity = 1.60 x 10⁻⁷ rad/s

diameter suddenly shrinks = 0.29 x present size

      r₂  = 0.29 r₁

using conservation of angular momentum

I₁ ω₁ = I₂ ω₂

(\dfrac{2}{5}mr_1^2)\omega_1=(\dfrac{2}{5}mr2^2)\omega_2

r_1^2\times \omega_1=r_2^2\times \omega_2

r_1^2\times 1.60\times 10^{-7}=(0.29r_1)^2\times \omega_2

1.60\times 10^{-7}=0.0841\times \omega_2

\omega_2=\dfrac{1.60\times 10^{-7}}{0.0841}

   ω₂ = 1.9025 x 10⁻⁶ rad/s

Define the law of universal gravitation in your own words.
Firdavs [7]
Newton's law of universal gravitation states that a particle attracts every other particle in the universe using a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers

How many cubic feet are in a 55-gallon drum?
san4es73 [151]
1 gallon = 231 cubic inches
1 cubic foot = 1728 cubic inches

                       (55 gal) x (231 in³/gal) x (1 ft³/1728 in³)

                   =    (55 x 231 / 1728)  ft³

                   =         7.352 cubic feet       (rounded)

Do you believe in God (why or why not)?
masya89 [10]
Yes I believe in god.I believe in him because there is huge gaps in science that can not be solved. I also believe in him because I was also taught about him when I was little by family & my mom so I grew up learning about him which made my beliefs stronger of course.

Why are peer reviews important?
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

Peer reviews are important because individuals with similar background knowledge are used to review work to detect inaccuracies or deficiencies in the work.

Explanation:

Those individuals with similar educational and work background knowledge can more accurately review work since they have the required knowledge base for the subject.
