A exon is a portion of your dna that is expressed as a gene

the introns are just space in between the exons that are cut out during transcription

A large portion of your DNA is a bunch of nothing which is believed to have been caused by retroviruses that inserts its DNA into yours. These introns serve as a huge benefit to us as they are what keeps our genes from getting all screwed up from all the random mutations that happen in our DNA. Since more than 95% (Most likely more don't really remember) is introns a mutation happening on any part of your dna is most likely to happen on the intron which is not expressed. The exons are the expressed dna which are your genes. These are the parts that are used to manufacture the proteins in your body

According to the principle of _______, a change in one species in a community results in a change in another.
Monica [59]

The correct answer is coevolution.

The term is used to illustrate the conditions where two or more species communally influence each other’s evolution. For example, an evolutionary modification in the morphology of a plant may influence the morphology of a herbivore that consumes it, this, in turn, may influence the evolution of the plant that might influence the evolution of the herbivore and so on.

Coevolution most possibly takes place when distinct species have a close ecological association with each other. These ecological associations include parasite/host and predator/prey, mutualistic species, and competitive species.

When chromosomes do not separate you end up with a
dusya [7]

Answer:

The phenomenon of unequal separation in meiosis is called nondisjunction. If nondisjunction causes a missing chromosome in a haploid gamete, the diploid zygote it forms with another gamete will contain only one copy of that chromosome from the other parent, a condition known as monosomy. I think sorry if wrong ;)
