k-4/3= 3

Mutiply both sides by 3 .

(3)(k-4/3)= (3)(3)

Cross out 3 and 3 , divide by 3 and then becomes k-4= 9

Move -4 to the other side

Sign changes from -4 to +4

k-4+4= 9+4

k= 13

Answer: k= 13

Find the first partial derivatives of the function f(x,y,z)=4xsin(y−z)
Amanda [17]

Answer:

f_x(x,y,z)=4\sin (y-z)

f_x(x,y,z)=4x\cos (y-z)

f_z(x,y,z)=-4x\cos (y-z)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is

f(x,y,z)=4x\sin (y-z)

We need to find first partial derivatives of the function.

Differentiate partially w.r.t. x and y, z are constants.

f_x(x,y,z)=4(1)\sin (y-z)

f_x(x,y,z)=4\sin (y-z)

Differentiate partially w.r.t. y and x, z are constants.

f_y(x,y,z)=4x\cos (y-z)\dfrac{\partial}{\partial y}(y-z)

f_y(x,y,z)=4x\cos (y-z)

Differentiate partially w.r.t. z and x, y are constants.

f_z(x,y,z)=4x\cos (y-z)\dfrac{\partial}{\partial z}(y-z)

f_z(x,y,z)=4x\cos (y-z)(-1)

f_z(x,y,z)=-4x\cos (y-z)

Therefore, the first partial derivatives of the function are f_x(x,y,z)=4\sin (y-z), f_x(x,y,z)=4x\cos (y-z)\text{ and }f_z(x,y,z)=-4x\cos (y-z).

What is the length of the hypotenuse
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

15ft

Step-by-step explanation:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

12 or 9 can equal to b or a

12^2 + 9^2 = c^2

144 + 81 = c ^2

225 = c^2

Square root of 225

15 = c

Rewrite the following polynomial in standard form. -x -7x^2 -10<br><br> Please Help
DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

-7x^2 - x - 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Rewriting a polynomial in standard form most often involves writing the x terms in descending order by power:  x^2, x^1, x^0

Rewrite -x -7x^2 -10 as -7x^2 - x^1 - 10x^0, which is usually simplified to:

                                       -7x^2 - x - 10

This result is in "standard form."

Find the value of x<br> 6x + 12<br> 3x - 3
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

19°

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Concept</u><u> </u><u>Used </u><u>:</u><u>-</u>

  • The measure of a straight line is 180°. So the sum of angles on a straight line is 180° .

Using this ,

\bf\implies 6x + 12 + 3x - 3 = 180\\\\\bf\implies 9x + 9 = 180\\\\\bf\implies 9x = 180-9 \\\\\bf\implies x =\dfrac{171}{9}  \\\\\bf\implies\boxed{\red{\bf x = 19 }}

<h3>Hence the value of x is 19°</h3>
