According to the question, Ozone in the upper atmosphere has been depleted by chlorofluorocarbons

Ozone is a form of molecular oxygen and it exists in the upper atmosphere predominantly. It is formed when oxygen is absorbed by the sun-short UVC and then breaking down by some chemicals such as chlorine from chlorofluorocarbons.

Further Explanation

Scientist put together some evidences in the early 1980s to support the fact that ozone layer depletion was as a result of the overabundance of chlorofluorocarbons in the atmosphere.

In industries, chlorofluorocarbons are used as refrigerants, which insulate foam and solvent. However, winds carry chlorofluorocarbons into the stratosphere in a process that could take up to 2-5 years. Chlorofluorocarbons releases chlorine when breaking down into the atmosphere and the chlorine attacks ozone.

The 1920s was a period when refrigerators and air conditioning systems used compounds such as propane, chloromethane, ammonia as refrigerants. Although this compound were very effective but they are very toxic and flammable. Individuals that come in contact with this compound could have a serious injury or death.

However, because of the danger these compound poses, a team of chemists came together to developed nonflammable and nontoxic compounds that are alternative to the refrigerants.

Compound that contains Carbons and halogens such as chlorine and fluorine were the two compounds the team focused on.

Explain why incremental development is the most effective approach for developing business software systems. Why is this model l
Ksenya-84 [330]

Explanation:

Typically, business software technologies are complex, and software strenuous. Business software applications are also often upgraded for changes in business goals or procedures. Real-time systems usually require a lot of hardware components that are quite difficult to change and cannot be upgraded Usually, actual-time safety critical systems that required to be built based on well-planned processes.

I neeed help im so comfused Points Possible: 1, Points Correct: 0 Which group of numbers is listed from greatest to least? -3, -
Alona [7]

The groups aren't well formatted ;

The groups are ;

(-3, -1, 0, 2, 7) ; (9, 7, 6, -5, -4) ; (8, -6, 5, -4, 1) ; (-3, -4, -7, -8, -9)

Answer:

(-3, -4, -7, -8, -9)

Explanation:

Given the following group of numbers :

Evaluating each group of values for which is correctly arranged from greatest to least.

(-3, -1, 0, 2, 7) : - 1 is greater than - 3 (the group isn't arranged from greatest to least)

(9, 7, 6, -5, -4) : - 4 is greater than - 5 ; hence, the group isn't arranged from greatest to least

(8, -6, 5, -4, 1) : 5 is greater than - 6 ; hence, the group isn't arranged from greatest to least

(-3, -4, -7, -8, -9) ; the group of numbers here is arranged from greatest to least ;

(-3 > -4 > -7 > -8 > -9) ; hence, the correct group

A car starts from rest and accelerates for 5.2 s with an acceleration of 2.8 m/s 2 . How far does it travel? Answer in units of
Mumz [18]
The final velocity is 5.2^2. The initial velocity is 0 . You are using Kinematic equation 3. (V^2=Vo^2+2a(x)) . (5.2^2=2(2.8)x)
27.04=5.6x
27.04/5.6=5.6/5.6x
4.83=x
The answer is 4.83m:)
