Where v = initial velocity, u = final velocity, t = time.

Substitute into equation 3

F = 0.08(1-0)/0.2

F = 0.08/0.2

F = 0.4 N

Acceleration: This is defined as the rate of change of velocity.

a = (v-u)/t

Where a = acceleration, v = final velocity, u = initial velocity, t = time.

Given: v = 1 m/s u = 0 m/s (from rest), t = 0.2 s.

Substitute into the equation above,

a = (1-0)/0.2

a = 1/0.2

a = 5 m/s²
