Answer:

Explained

Explanation:

If you are in a rotating system newton's law do not work .Adding a frictious force can make the law work. If an orbiting object is in constant freefall under gravity . Even elliptical planet orbits are examples of freefall under gravity. The force F which the planet feels; this force can be resolved into two components, centripetal force F_C and tangential force F_T.

The tangential force causes an acceleration(newton's second law) which decreases the speed and the centripetal force causes the velocity to turn. In there is circular orbit of radius R, F_T=0 and the centripetal force is F_C=Mv^2/R;

The centrifugal force would be a vector with magnitude Mv^2/R( same as that of centripetal) pointing away from the sun but it does not really exist.

The synthesis of nitrogen trihydride from nitrogen gas and hydrogen gas is shown by which balanced chemical equation?
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

Option B. N2(g) + 3H2(g) → 2NH3(g)

Explanation:

When nitrogen react with hydrogen, they form a product as shown below:

N2+ H2 → NH3

We need to balance the equation. This is illustrated below:

There are 2 atoms of nitrogen on the left side and 1 atom on the right side. To balance it, put 2 in front of NH3 as shown below:

N2+ H2 → 2NH3

Now, There are a total of 6 atoms of Hydrogen on the right side and 2 atoms on the left side side. This can be balanced by putting 3 in front of H2 as shown below:

N2+ 3H2 → 2NH3

Now we see clearly that the equation is balanced as we have equal numbers of atoms of N and H on both sides of the equation

8_murik_8 [283]

Answer: 2.61 s

Explanation:

We are given the following data:

s=5 ft is the initial height of the object

v=40 ft/s is the initial height of the object

In addition, the motion of the object is given by:

h=-16t^{2}+ vt +s (1)

Where:

h=0 ft is the final height of the object

t is the time the object is in the air before hitting the ground

Rewritting (1) with the given data:

0=-16t^{2}+ 40t +5 (2)

Solving the quadratic equation with the quadratic formula t=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}, where a=-16, b=40, c=5 and choosing the positive value of time:

t=\frac{-40\pm\sqrt{(-40)^{2}-4(-16)(5)}}{2(-16)} (3)

t=2.61 s (4) This is the time

Newton’s Law of Cooling. Newton’s law of cooling states that the rate of change in the temperature T(t) of a body is proportiona
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

After 30 minutes, the temperature of the body is: T₁₀ = 311.60 K

After 60 minutes, the temperature of the body is: T₂₀ = 298.18 K

Explanation:

Given that:

\dfrac{dT}{dt}= K \bigg [ M(t) -T(t)\bigg]

where;

K = 0.04

M(t) = 293

Then;

\dfrac{dT}{dt}= 0.04 \bigg [ 293 -T\bigg]

\dfrac{dT}{dt}= 11.72 -0.04 \ T

Using Euler's Formula;

T_{n+1} = T_n + hf( t_n, T_n)

where;

f(t_n,T_n) = 11.72 - 0.04 T_n

Then;

T_{n+1}  = T_n + 3.0 (11.72-0.04 \ T_n)

T_{n+1}  = 0.88T_n + 35.16 \  ---(1)

At initial state t_0  (0);  T_0 = 360

At t₁ = 3.0 when T₀ = 360
