Answer:

Part A: 10 complete capes.

Part B: 120 minutes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Part A:

Given:

Amount of fabric required for 1 cape is 1 yard.

Total amount of fabric bought by Zoe's mom are 10 yards.

Using unitary method,

∵Number of capes made from 1 yard fabric = 1

∴ Number of capes made from 10 yard fabric = 10\times 1=10

Part B:

Given:

Time taken to make 1 cape is 12 minutes.

Using unitary method,

∵Time taken to make 1 cape = 12 minutes.

∴ Time taken to make 10 capes = 12\times 10=120 minutes.

How do you solve this problem?
enot [183]
Easy, it says "for ANY positive integer" so just test any positive integer

remember that n! means times all integers from 1 to that number n

lets try 1

(1+1)!/(1!)-1=
(2!)/(1!)-1=
2/1-1=
2-1=
1

if you don't believe me, try 2
(2+1)!/(2!)-2=
(3!)/(2!)-2=
(6)/(2)-2=
3-2=
1

te answer is 1, B

and number 9
easy, remember the exponential law
(x^m)(x^n)=x^(m+n)
jsut add the exponents
first gropu like bases
(r^2r^2/3)(t^1/2t^-3/2)
add bases
(r^2 and 2/3)(t^-1)=
(r^2∛(r^2))(1/t)=
\frac{r^{2} \sqrt[3]{r^{2}} }{t}

If 2a+ 2/a =4, what is the value of 2a^2− 2/a^2 ?
aliina [53]

Answer:

0

Step-by-step explanation:

2a+ 2/a =4

Multiply each side by a to clear the fraction

a( 2a+ 2/a) =4*a

Distribute

2a^2 +2 = 4a

Subtract 4a from each side

2a^2 -4a +2 = 4a-4a

2a^2 -4a +2 =0

Divide by 2

2/2 a^2 -4a/2 +2/2 =0/2

a^2 -2a +1=0

Factor

(a-1) (a-1) =0

Using the zero product property

a=1

2a^2 -2/a^2

2(1)^2 -2/1^2

2-2

0
