Crop rotation and cover crops are important so that the soil stays very nutritious and healthy. With crop rotation, different plants are planted each year, thus giving each planting nutrients.

There is a need for the farmers to implement a crop rotation, which builds or maintains soil organic matter, manages and conserves nutrients, works to control pests, and protects against erosion. The cultivators of perennial crops, which are not rotated may use some other kind of approaches like cover crops, in order to sustain the health of the soil.

The cover crops like hairy vetch or clover, are grown at the time of off-season when the soils may otherwise be left barren. These crops build and safeguard the health of the soil by replenishing soil nutrients, preventing erosion, minimizing the need for herbicides, and keeping the weeds in check.

A chemical reaction in which an uncombined element replaces an element that is part of a compound is called a
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

A chemical reaction in which an uncombined element replaces an element that is part of a compound is called a simple substitution reaction or simple displacement reaction.

Explanation:

A simple substitution reaction or simple displacement reaction, called single-displacement reaction, is a reaction in which an element of a compound is substituted by another element involved in the reaction. The starting materials are always pure elements and an aqueous compound. And a new pure aqueous compound and a different pure element are generated as products. The general form of a simple substitution reaction is:

AB + C → A +BC

where C and A are pure elements; C replaces A within compound AB to form a new co, placed CB and elementary A.

So, in a Single replacement reaction an uncombined element replaces an element.

Which statement best describes the formula equation ci2(g)+2kbr(aq)-2kci(aq)+ Br2(i)
BARSIC [14]

The statement that describes the chemical reaction is D chlorine gas reacts with potassium bromide to form potassium chloride in solution and liquid bromide. The symbol "Cl" represents chlorine. The symbols in the brackets show the physical state of the substance, (g) is gaseous, (s) is solid, (aq) is aqueous and (l) is liquid.

An electron confined in a one-dimensional box is observed, at different times, to have energies of 12 eV, 27 eV, and 48 eV. What
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

l=3.5*10^{-10}m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

1st Energy     E_1=12eV=4(3eV)

2nd Energy  E_2=27eV=9(3eV)

3rd Energy   E_3=48eV=16(3eV)

Generally the equation for Energy E for electron in one dimensional box at ground state E_0 is mathematically given by

  E_0=\frac{h}{8ml^2}

  E_0=\frac{h}{8ml^2}

Therefore Length a is mathematically given as

l=\sqrt{\frac{h^2}{8mE_0} }

l=\sqrt{\frac{(6.625*10^{-34})^2}{8(9.1*19^{-31}{(3eV(1.6*10^{-19}))}}

l=3.5*10^{-10}m
