Answer:

- 8 or A

Step-by-step explanation:

Problem 1

First of all, you could write f(x) in terms of its x intercepts.

x = - 2

x + 2 = 0

x= 1

x - 1 = 0

x = 4

x - 4 = 0

So f(x) = (x - 4)(x - 1)(x + 2)

The division to find the remainder can be done expanding this further and doing a synthetic division on it, but the easier way is just to put 2 in for x. That is because x - 2 is turned into 0 by making x = 2

f(2) = (2 - 4)(2 - 1)(2 + 2)

f(2) = (-2)(1)(4)

f(2) = - 8

=====================

The expanded form of this question is f(x) = x^3 - 3x^2 -  6x  +  8

You could do this with synthetic division. It will give you the same answer.

2 ||    1     -3     -6      8

               2      -2    -16

=========================

        1      -1       -8    -8

The remainder is -8

Answer: A

which gives you exactly the same answer. (x - 2) into x^3 - x^2 - 16x + 16 will leave a remainder of  - 12

if angle R measures 52 degrees angle angle A measures 48 degrees are the angles complementary or supplementary
Alex Ar [27]
Its supplementary but there would have to be a 80 degree angle for it to be complete. It isnt complementary because 52+48=100 which is over 90 degress

PLEASE HELP ANSWER THISS!!! I NEED THIS PLEASE!!! AND NO LINKS EITHER PLSS!!
Sophie [7]

It doesn't change because to add fractions, you need a common denominator. To find it, they multiplied 1/3 by 2 to make 2/6, to add to the 3/6.

Find the distance travelled by Rama if she takes two rounds of a rectangular park whose length is 8 km and breadth is 12 km.
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

80 km

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find the perimeter of the park.

2(12 + 8) = 2(20) = 40 km

Since Rama travels around the park twice, multiply the perimeter by 2.

40(2) = 80 km

Alex787 [66]

Answer:

  • There were 10 females and 14 males on the team.

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step-1: Add the ratios.</u>

  • 5 + 7 = 12

<u>Step-2: Divide it with the total number of students.</u>

  • 24 ÷ 12
  • => 2

<u>Step-3: Multiply.</u>

  • 5 x 2 = total females

        7 x 2 = total males

  • => 10 females
  • => 14 males

Hence, there were 10 females and 14 males on the team.
