- How can photos be used as alternate forms of argument?

It can be used as a visual proof to convince others about your point.

Argument often derived from personal conviction. This personal conviction often really hard to get rid off even if the oppositions provides a clear and logical argument to debunk it.

Visual proof often harder to deny since it can depict a certain situation in a more convincing way rather than personal recollection . Often times, this can be a lot stronger compared to trying to convince others simply by using words.

- Can a photo convince you to take a specific action or to think a certain way?

Absolutely.

For example, Let's say that you hear 2 people arguing in the court. Person A accused person B for killing person C at December 12th. Person B denied the accusation.

At this point, you probably not really sure who's in the right.

But, let's say that person B showed a photo that proved he is actually in another city on December 12th and it is impossible for him to be at the crime scene on the time of person C attack.

That photo could easily win the argument in person B's favor and convince others who witness it that he is telling the truth.

expeople1 [14]
Due to its warm weather and alluvial soil, the South became an agricultural place. The Old South became known for its complex social structure. The different groups that made up this society were the yeoman farmers, free blacks, landless whites, slave-owners, and slaves. The landowners bought African slaves to work their massive plantations due to a labor shortage. Even little farmers were hired for slave labor. As this place progressed, businesses were also developed. And these industries further hired landless whites and slaves. In urban areas, slaves were usually hired for domestic service while others worked in food processing, manufacturing, and transportation.

Musya8 [376]

Answer:

Schemata

Explanation:

A schema is the preconceived framework of cognition that helps us interpret information and react accordingly.

Here, Jack has never been to a funeral before but knows about funerals through other people's experiences. Also, his exposure to movies and TV shows that depict funerals have informed him about funerals. So, he has a fair idea about the cultural and traditional customs that are to be followed when attending a funeral.

Hence, the psychological concept being described here is schemata.

What was the result of Deng Xiaoping's economic revolution in China?
Lisa [10]

Answer:

The Chinese economic reform or reform and opening-up; known in the West as the Opening of China is the program of economic reforms termed "Socialism with Chinese characteristics" and "socialist market economy" in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Led by Deng Xiaoping, often credited as the "General Architect", the reforms were launched by reformists within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on December 18, 1978 during the "Boluan Fanzheng" period.[1][2][3][4] The reforms went into stagnation after the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, but were revived after Deng Xiaoping's Southern Tour in 1992. In 2010, China overtook Japan as the world's second-largest economy.
