Another name for kidney stones, is (Nephrolithiasis). Nephrolithiasis is the presence of calculi within the kidney.  Nephrolithiasis is also the medical term for kidney stones.

For example, trying to see what's a good conductor so you put a provide electricity through a pizza to see what happens. It might be great, it might be bad, either way, pizza can conduct electricity. Pseudo science would be trying to turn pizza into gold like what Alchemists did.
