Explanation:

Initial speed of blood, u = 0

Final speed of the blood, v = 26 cm/s

(a) Displacement of the blood, d = 2 cm

Let a be its acceleration. It can be calculated using third equation of motion as :

a=\dfrac{v^2-u^2}{2s}

a=\dfrac{(26)^2}{2\times 2}

a=169\ cm/s^2

(b) Let t is the time taken by the blood to reach its final speed. It can be calculated as :

<u>t=\dfrac{v-u}{a}</u>

t=\dfrac{26\ cm/s}{169\ cm/s^2}

t = 0.15 s

Hence, this is the required solution.

What is the equivalent resistance of the circuit?
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

80Ω

Explanation:

Resistance in a series circuit (when one resistor is after another in the same line) is calculated with the following equation

Total resistance = R1 + R2 + R3...Rn

Substitute in your values and solve for total resistance

Total resistance = 60 + 20 = 80Ω

2<br><br> How does Descartes' "quality of motion" differ from the modern<br><br> momentum?
Rzqust [24]

Answer: Descartes was more of speed which defers from modern day velocity.

Explanation:

Descartes law if conservation referred or defined “motion” rather than “momentum” as what is obtainable in today's world as ”speed” the rate at which something moves rather than “velocity” which is a product of speed and direction. So in conclusion Descartes was more of speed which defers from modern day velocity.
