ng to play the violin and the cello. For every 3 hours that Juan spends practicing the violin he practices the cello for 2.5 hours. Nina is learning to play the viola and cello. For every 3 hours Nina spends practicing the viola she practices the cello for 2 hours.
If Juan practiced the violin for 9 hours last week and Juan and Nina practiced the cello for the same amount of time, then Nina practiced the viola for hours last week.

Answer:

Nina practiced the viola for 11.25 hours last week.

Step-by-step explanation:

Juan practiced the violin for 9 hours last week. For each 3 hours that he practices the violin, he practices 2.5 hours of cello. So

3h violin - 2.5h cello

9h violin - xh cello

3x = 9*2.5

x = 7.5

He practiced 7.5 hours of cello, the same as Nina.

For every 3 hours Nina spends practicing the viola she practices the cello for 2 hours. So:

3h viola - 2h cello

xh viola - 7.5h cello

2x = 3*7.5

x = 7.5*1.5

x = 11.25

Nina practiced the viola for 11.25 hours last week.

The answer would be 1/8 because when 1/8 is divide into the endpoints of AB you will recieve 1/8 of the endpoint numbers. Like 1/8 of 4 would be written as 1/8 times 4/1 since its a fraction multiply 1 times 4 and 8 times 1 to get 4/8. 4 goes into 4 one time and into 8 2 times giving you 1/2. Hope this helped. A cube is packed with decorative pebbles. If the cube has a side length of 2 inches, and each pebble weighs on average 0.5 lb pe
kow [346]

We can solve this problem by first solving for the total volume of the cube. The formula for volume of cube is given as:

V cube = s^3

Where s is the length of one side which is equivalent to 2 inches. Therefore:

V cube = (2 inches)^3

V cube = 8 cubic inch

Assuming that all the pebble fills the cube without any spaces, then the total weight of the pebbles in the cube would simply be:

Total weight = 0.5 lb per cubic inch * 8 cubic inch

Total weight = 4 lb

Therefore, the total weight of the pebbles in the cube is 4 lbs.
