The correct answer is D. The placenta remains intact. Stage three is actually the final stage in which the placenta is delivered. It can happen 5-30 minutes after childbirth which occurs at stage 2. After stage three is completed, thee mother is monitored and the child birth process is over. A woman will keep on bleeding but there's nothing abnormal about that, as long as the bleeding is not causing issues or is not happening more than normal.

A nerve impulse is a way nerve cells (neurons) communicate with one another. Nerve impulses are mostly electrical signals along the dendrites to produce a nerve impulse or action potential. The action potential is the result of ions moving in and out of the cell.
A nerve impulse travels from the dendritic end towards the axonal end. The chemicals released from the axonal end of one neuron cross the synapse and generate a similar electrical impulse in a dendrite of another neuron. A neuron transmits electrical impulses not only to another neuron but also to muscle and gland cells.

What is puberty? i have to know for health to answer thankyou
elena-s [515]

Answer:

The body of a youth beginning to develop into an adult.

Explanation:

For females there is many things that come along with puberty, such as menstrual cycle, growth in height, breasts, and mostly size in general, pubic hairs begin to grow etc. The body begins developing from being a girl to a woman. Sex drive will be intensified immensely since your body is developing and full of hormones making the female want to explore it.

For males they normally begin puberty before females do but in some cases they may not. Their voices begin to crack along with muscle growth. The penis and testicles will begin to experience growth, beginning to look foreign and very different from what it once was. The scrotum begins to get darker as well. They will begin experience a massive sex drive along with hair growing on their testicles, under their arms, face, and other parts of the body. Acne may also be a side effect to come along with puberty.
