How can you tell if the force is attractive or repulsive in electrostatics?
Anni [7]
The electrostatic force of attraction or repulsion is can be found as follows,

let us consider 2 bodies in gravitational field of earth. Let the distance between those two bodies is equal to r meters. The charge on the first body is Q1 and charge on second body is Q2.
By columbs force, F α Q1×Q2
                                   r²
F=k Q1×Q2                   where k-gravitational constant.
        r²

What source of renewable energy makes up the vast majority of current global renewable energy resource use, and why is this?
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

hydropower

Explanation:

hydroelectric power is a domestic source of energy. This automatically allows each state to produce their own energy without being reliant on international fuel sources. It also won't pollute the air like power plants that burn fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas. This is because it is powered by water.

I hope this helped. sorry it took so long. I was trying to get the right resources 4 you

The distance between two adjacent peaks on a wave is called the wavelength. The wavelength of a beam of ultraviolet light is 113
Vesna [10]

Answer:

0.000000113 or 1.13*10^{-7} meters

Explanation:

One nanometer is 10^{-9} meters. So 113 nanometers would be 113*10^{-9}, or 1.13*10^{-7} meters. That's expessed on "cientific notation." On the "usual" notation, it will be 0.000000113 meters.

HELP PLEASE
Can someone please explain to me why the answer would be 2.45m/s?
marissa [1.9K]
It's basically asking for the acceleration. When an object is in free fall, the acceleration is just gravity. so in this case ∆v = 2.45 because it is the gravity on that planet.
