It doesn't. It applies to any charge distribution. But if a charge isn't spherically symmetrical, then it's a little harder to find its center (to use for the distance from other charges).

What is the mass, in kilograms, of an avogadro's number of people, if the average mass of a person is 150 lb ?
Nikolay [14]
First step is to convert the lb to kg as follows:
1 lb = 0.45 kg
Therefore, 150 lb = 150 x 0.45 = 67.5 kg

Avogadro's number = 6.02 x 10^23

Mass of Avogadro's number of people = 6.02 x 10^23 x 67.5
                                                              = 4.0635 x 10^25 kg

What explains the key difference between a bomb calorimeter and a coffee cup calorimeter?.
Virty [35]

The key difference between a bomb calorimeter and a coffee cup calorimeter is high temperature.

<h3>What is bomb calorimeter?</h3>

A bomb calorimeter is an apparatus that can measure heats of combustion, used in various applications such as calculating the calorific value of foods and fuels.

<h3>What is coffee cup calorimeter?</h3>

A coffee cup calorimeter is a cup used to provide insulation when materials are mixed inside of it.

<h3>Difference between the two calorimeter</h3>
  • The coffee cup calorimeter can't be used for high-temperature reactions, either, because they would melt the cup.
  • A bomb calorimeter is used to measure heat flows for gases and high-temperature reactions

A material having an index of refraction of 1.35 is used as an antireflective coating on a piece of glass (n = 1.50). What shoul
exis [7]

Answer:

103.70 nm

Explanation:

The minimum thickness of the film is given by t=\frac{\lambda }{4n} where \lambda is the wavelength and n is the index of the refraction

We have n =1.35

Wavelength \lambda =560nm

So the minimum thickness of the film t=\frac{\lambda }{4n}=\frac{560}{4\times 1.35}=103.70\ nm
