The larger the wire the more current it can handle. If the wire is too small for the current flowing through it, it acts more like a resistor in the circuit. The wire heats up in this scenario, can melt the insulation around the wire and cause short circuiting and potentially electrical fires.

Which can lead scientists to change a theory that has already been accepted? Check all that apply. changes to scientific laws ne
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

New experimental methods

Technological inventions

Explanation:

A scientific theory is usually not based on speculation. Scientific theories must have a solid empirical basis.

However, experimental methods are limited to the caliber of equipments available at the time in which a theory is formulated. With advancing years, more technological sophistication leads to the invention of new instruments and ultimately, the development of new experimental methods.

These innovations are likely to alter existing scientific theories as new evidences emerge, hence the answer.

15% NaOH by mass is 15g of NaOH in (100-15)g of solution.

No. Of moles of NaOH in solution = 0.65

No of moles of Water in solution = 4.72

Mole Fraction =

(

(Moles of Solvent)

(Moles Of Solute)+(Moles of Solvent)

)

OR

(

(Moles of Solvent)

Total Number Of Moles

)

= 0.65 / 5.37

= 0.121
