Positive Impact

1. Going digital has allowed business to use less paper hence saving trees which is good for the environment.

2. Technology has also allowed  a shift from hydrocarbon fuel cars to battery-powered cars. This saves the environment from carbon emissions.

Negative Impact

1. Technology has caused an increase in gadgets that pollute the environment when improperly disposed of. This waste can be more toxic than other traditional wastes.

2. Increased technology use has resulted in an increased energy demand. This has resulted in a strain on natural resources and have a negative impact on the environment.

You are the captain of a pirate ship and wish to find out how strong a new first mate is at rowing treasure from shore to the sh
AlekseyPX

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Power is work divided by time:

P = W / t

Work is force times distance:

W = F d

Therefore:

P = F d / t

Given that F = 500 N, d = 60 m, and t = 240 s:

P = 500 N * 60 m / 240 s

P = 125 W

Answer is C.

Define faith in your own words.
krok68 [10]

Answer:

Faith, to me is almost like hope but for faith you need to believe. Some people associate the word faith with religion. But that's not it. Faith is really just a stronger term than believing someone. Like you can believe in someone but not have faith in that same person. You can have faith in someone but to do that you have to believe and trust them.

When a mass of 29 g is attached to a certain spring, it makes 20 complete vibrations in 3.1 s. What is the spring constant of th
never [62]

Answer:

The spring constant of the spring is 47.62 N/m

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass that is attached with the spring, m = 29 g = 0.029 kg

The spring makes 20 complete vibrations in 3.1 s. We need to find the spring constant of the spring. We know that the number of oscillations per unit time is called frequency of an object. So,

f=\dfrac{20}{3.1}

f = 6.45 Hz

The frequency of oscillator is given by :

f=\dfrac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\dfrac{k}{m}}

k is the spring constant

k=4\pi^2f^2m

k=4\pi^2\times (6.45)^2\times 0.029

k = 47.62 N/m

So, the spring constant of the spring is 47.62 N/m. Hence, this is the required solution.
