Cars A and B have the same mass, but Car A's speed is 15 mph, whereas Car B is moving at 60 mph. The kinetic energy
kupik [55]

Answer:

16 times that of car A

Explanation:

Moving objects have kinetic energy which is calculated using the formula:

E=(1/2)mv² where m is the mass of the object and v is its velocity.

For car A, kinetic energy =1/2×m×15²

=112.5m........................................i

For car B,  the kinetic energy =1/2×m×60²

=1800m......................................ii

dividing ii by i we get

1800m/112.5m= 16.07

Therefore The kinetic energy of car B is 16.07 times that of car A

What wavelength ? should the astrophysicist look for to detect a transition of an electron from the n=7 to the n=3 level?
Veseljchak [2.6K]
Using the Debroglies equation, energy can be found,as 1.9773*10*-9
then, energy* wave length= hc
c is the speed of light and is the planks constant.
wave length =1.006*10*-16 m

In separate experiments, a large number of particles (all with the same charge, but with a wide variety of masses and speeds) ar
likoan [24]

Answer:

  they have the same mass

Explanation:

The force applied by the field is a function of the charge and velocity, so the acceleration experienced by a particle will be dependent upon its mass. Particles in orbits with the same radius are exhibiting the same acceleration, so must have the same mass.
