As the altitude increases, the air temperature decreases.

The Mesosphere, like the troposphere layer, has a decrease in temperature with altitude because of the decreases in the density of the air molecules.

Look at the diagram below. The value of equivalent resistor is: A. 4 Ω B. 6 Ω C. 8 Ω D. 10 Ω
Advocard [28]

Answer:

R=4Ω

Explanation:

R1 and R3 are parrallel

so we have : R=R1*R2/R1+R2

R=6*3/6+3

R=18/9

R=2Ω

R2 and 2Ω are in series,so we have

R=R2+2

R=2+2

R=4Ω

A source emits sound with a frequency of 860 Hz. It is moving at 20.0 m/s toward a stationary reflecting wall. If the speed of s
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

f_o=860\ Hz

Explanation:

Given:

  • original frequency of sound wave, f=860\ Hz
  • speed of the sound source, v_s=20\ m.s^{-1}
  • original speed of sound wave from the source, s=343\ m.s^{-1}

<u>According to the Doppler's effect:</u>

\frac{f_s}{f_o} =\frac{s+v_s}{s-v_o}

The sound is reflected from the wall and the source is moving towards the wall and observer is also riding the same source.

The velocity of the observer, v_o=-20\ m.s^{-1}

\frac{860}{f_o} =\frac{s+20}{s-(-20)}

f_o=860\ Hz

Calculate the potential difference of a wire of 10 ohm , through which 5 A of current is flowing .
HACTEHA [7]
Resistance= Potential Difference/Current
10 Ohm= PD/ 5A
PD= 10 Ohm × 5A
PD=50
Therefore, Potential Difference is B. 50 V
