3. Plug in the combinations into step 1 and see which gives you the correct answer: <span>(3x + 2)(x - 3) = 3x^2 - 7x - 6 --> no </span>(3x - 3)(x + 2<span>) = 3x^2 + 3x - 6 --> no </span>(3x - 2)(x + 3) = 3x^2 + <span>7x - 6 --> YES</span>
