Answer:

The particles in a hot coffee possess greater kinetic energy compare to the particles of an ice cream due to the nature of their states of matter.

Explanation:

The particles of liquid substance are held together by weak intermolecular force of attraction and therefore are far from each other which cause them to be able to move about freely in the hot cup of coffee. Due to easy movement they will have more kinetic energy and move at a faster rate due to application of heat. Due to this heat, the particles in the hot coffee will be free to move about and strikes the wall of the container which in turns increases their kinetic energy since kinetic energy is the energy possessed by a body by virtue of its motion.

An ice cream is a semisolid and in a semisolid compare to liquid substance, the molecules/particles of the substance are held together by intermolecular force of attraction and hence, this particles will not be able to move freely and as such will possess low kinetic energy compare to the particles in the hot coffee.

A driver without a seat belt getting thrown from the car in a collision is an example of Newton’s?
kupik [55]
Newton’s first law. An object stays in motion unless acted on by an external force or in this case the driver was in motion but the sudden crash stoped the car but not the driver

A horse walks along a straight path. it travels 3 in one second, 4 m in the next second, and 5 m in the third second. describe t
Temka [501]

Answer: The horse is moving with a uniform acceleration

Explanation:

According to the described situation, we are dealing with a constant acceleration (also called uniform acceleration), since the horse's velocity is changingn by a constant rate.

Let's prove it:

Firstly we are told the horse follows a straight path. In addition we are given its velocity:

3 m/s, then 4 m/s and 5 m/s

Since acceleration a is defined as the change of velocity in time we can calculate it:

a\frac{4 m/s-3 m/s}{1 s}=1m/s^{2} This is the horse's constant acceleration

A water tank has a mass of 3.64 kg when empty and 51.8 kg when filled to a certain level. What is the mass of the water in the t
mrs_skeptik [129]
Subtract the total mass of the tank and water by the mass of the empty tank. That will yield the mass of the water.

51.8 - 3.64 = 48.16.

Your answer is 48.16 kg
