Answer:

300 soccer card will each person receive.

Step-by-step explanation:

Unit rate defined as the rates are expressed as a quantity 1, such as 2 miles per hour or 5 meter per second.

As per the statement: Maria and 3 friends have 1,200 soccer cards

Total number of persons = 4

Number of soccer cards = 1200

By definition of unit rate;

\text{Unit rate per person} = \frac{\text{Number of soccer cards}}{\text{total number of persons}}

Substitute the given values we get;

\text{Unit rate per person}=\frac{1200}{4}

Simplify:

Unit rate per person = 300 Soccer card.

Sally is $3.95 in dimes and quarters that shows the total 23 coins how many times does she have and how many quarters does she h
UkoKoshka [18]
Make a system of equations:

0.10x + 0.25y = 3.95
x + y = 23

x + y = 23

Subtract 'y' to both sides:

x = -y + 23

Plug in -y + 23 for 'x' in the first equation:

0.10(-y + 23) + 0.25y = 3.95

Distribute 0.10:

-0.10y + 2.3 + 0.25y = 3.95

Subtract 2.3 to both sides:

-0.10y + 0.25y = 1.65

Combine like terms:

0.15y = 1.65

Divide 0.15 to both sides:

y = 11

Plug this into any of the two equations to find 'x':

x + y = 23

x + 11 = 23

Subtract 11 to both sides:

x = 12

So Sally has 11 dimes and 12 quarters.

                  Hello!

✧・゚: *✧・゚:*    *:・゚✧*:・゚✧

❖ 5/25 as a percent is 20%.

5/25 simplified is 1/5. Percents are out of 100 so 1/5 times 100 equals 20.

Question 9 is attached! Please explain how you got your answer.
MrRissso [65]
2(x+10)+3x=85
2x+20+3x=85 I used Distributive property
(2x+3x) +20=85 Combine like terms
5x+20-20=85-20 now i need to get rid of the 20 so i subtract it (the reason for this is because it is positive you have to so the oposite, in this case subtract) from that side, and what you do to one side you have to do to the other
5x=65 is what you have now
5x/5=65/5  Now i need to get rid of the 5 by divition, so i do it to both sides
x=13 is the answer

Branliest please!!!
