From the following list, take the producers and write them in the blank space on the lowest level. acorns deer mice apple trees

eagles owls cabbage frogs potatoes carrots grains rabbits chickens grass squirrels corn horses wolves cows lettuce worms Take the plant-eating consumers who eat only producers and put them on the second level. Put all predators on the third level. After completing the lab, respond to the following questions: Were there more producers than consumers and more consumers than predators on your pyramid? A mouse eats 100 times his own weight in grain in a lifetime. You can see that plants must produce a great amount of food for just one mouse. What do you think would happen if grain was no longer available for the mouse to eat? How would it affect other organisms in your ecosystem?

Producers are: acorns, apple trees, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, grains, grass, corn and lettuce

consumers are: owls, frogs, rabbits, chickens, squirrels, cows and worms

predators are: eagles and wolves

yes there were more producers than consumers and consumers than predators.

If the grain was no longer available for the mouse to eat, the mouse would not survive, and therefore the predator that relies on eating mice to survive wouldn't survive either. The grain not being available would completely disrupt the ecosystem

What is some advice you would give to someone who doesn’t know the importance of carrying capacity
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

For someone who doesn't know the importance of carrying capacity, i would advice him to understand what carrying capacity mean, and then tell him that he should not overcrowd the population of animals or be part of humans overcrowding as it can destroy the ecosystem or resources.

Explanation:

This is because, carrying capacity is the population size that can conviniently live in an habitat with the available resources..

It's very important because, it will ensure that the population size that the resources can sustain can live in the environment so as to prevent degradation of the ecosystem or the environment due to increase in population size.
