Answer:

See full matching of terms in the explanation below.

Explanation:

The bonding with electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions is called ionic or electrovalent bonding.

The bonding with electron sharing between two adjacent atoms such that each atom assumes a stable electron configuration is called covalent bonding

The bonding where the positively charged ion cores are shielded from one another, and also "glued" together by the sea of valence electrons is called. Metallic bonding

Statements that satisfy the Pauli exclusion principle

Electron state can hold no more than two electrons

Electrons with the same state must have opposite spins.

PLEASE HELP, EASY QUESTION!!!! Which of the following best describes the freezing of water?
VLD [36.1K]
I think the correct answer would be negative change in enthalpy, low temperature and negative entropy. Freezing of water is an exothermic process which means heat is released to the surroundings so negative enthalpy. And this is seen in the change to a lower temperature. Entropy is negative which signifies that there is more order as water freezes.

1. How many milliliters of 10.0 M HNO 3 are needed to prepare 0.350 L of 0.400 M solution?
tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

14 milliliters

Explanation:

We are given;

  • 10.0 M HNO₃

Prepared solution;

  • Volume of solution as 0.350 L
  • Molarity as 0.40 M

We are required to determine the initial volume of HNO₃

  • We are going to use the dilution formula;
  • The dilution formula is;

M₁V₁ = M₂V₂

Rearranging the formula;

V₁ = M₂V₂ ÷ M₁

    =(0.40 M × 0.350 L) ÷ 10.0 M

   = 0.014 L

But, 1 L = 1000 mL

Therefore,

Volume = 14 mL

Thus, the volume of 10.0 M HNO₃ is 14 mL

Please help on 44. /45./ 46./47,
Aleonysh [2.5K]
The only one that I can do without google is 47. Sorry that I can't answer the others. The answer to 47 is this: you know that the western side of the hill has the steepest slope because the ovals showing altitude are way closer together. The closer the circles/ovals are, the steeper the slope is.

Sorry if this doesn't help much, but I answered what I could without cheating.
