One example is that when their food catches fire in a cooking pot or pan, it is advisable to smother the fire by covering the fire with a blanket rather than douse the fire with water. DOeing the later will only aggravate the fire. Knowledge of basic science dictates that oil and water are immiscible liquids the oil will continue to burn even as the water is poured into the oil. More so, as the water violently evaporates due to the heat, it spreads the burning oil and hence spreads the fire.

Scientific principles is a law or rules in science that has to be or usually is to be followed, or can be desirably followed or is an inevitable consequence of something, such as the laws observed in nature or the way that a system is constructed. I think people that practices this principle encounter life systematicaly and efficiently

An object is traveling on a circle with a radius of 6 feet. If in 80 seconds a central angle of 9/4 radians is swept out, then f
trapecia [35]

Answer:

The angular speed of the object is 0.0281 rad/s

The linear speed of the object is 0.169 ft/s

Explanation:

Given;

radius of the circle, r = 6 ft

time of motion of the object around the circle, t = 80 s

central angle formed by the object during the motion, θ = 9/4 rad = 2.25 rad

The angular speed of the object is calculated as;

\omega = \frac{\theta }{t} = \frac{2.25 \ rad}{80 \ s} = 0.0281 \ rad/s

The linear speed of the object is calculated as;

v = ωr

v = 0.0281 rad/s   x    6ft

v = 0.169 ft/s

Which element easily loses one electron to form a positive ion?
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer/Explanation: As mentioned above, the characteristic chemical property of a metal atom is to lose one or more of its electrons to form a positive ion. However, certain metals lose electrons much more readily than others. In particular, cesium (Cs) can give up its valence electron more easily than can lithium (Li).
