A cyclic, or not, group can have lots of sets of generators with different cardinalities, a cyclic group is characterized for having a generator set with 1 single element. A generator for a cyclic group and any other element will also be a generator set.

Which event demonstrates electromagnetic waves transferring energy?
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

Sun heating a car sitting in a parking lot

Explanation:

The sun heating a car sitting in a parking lot is an example of electromagnetic waves transferring energy.

  • Electromagnetic waves are produced from the vibration between electric and magnetic fields.
  • These waves can be propagated through vacuum with no particles inside of them.
  • The sun produces electromagnetic radiation through the process of nuclear fusion.
  • These radiations are used to warm the earth surface.
  • The sun heating a car sitting a parking lot is one vivid example.

Which of the following is a characteristic of a mixture
BARSIC [14]
I believe you forgot to add the choices. I will tell you some of the characteristics of mixtures and I hope you find one of them in the choices you have.

A mixture is a physical combination between two or more elements. No chemical reaction is involved in the formation of mixtures.
The components of the mixture can be separated using physical methods such as filtration, boiling and condensation.
Examples of mixtures include mixture of sugar and water or mixture of salt and sugar.

A very small object carrying -7 μC of charge is attracted to a large, well-anchored, positively charged object. How much kinetic
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

ΔK.E = 14 nJ

Explanation:

Solution:

- The charge that moves under the influence of an Electric Field produced between a potential difference (V) stores electric potential energy U within that is converted to kinetic energy.

- We will use conservation of energy on the system that contains the charged particle with charge q loses its electric potential energy U as it moves towards positively charged object that converts into a gain in Kinetic energy of the charged particle ΔK.E:

                                 ΔK.E = U

Where,

                                 U = V*q

                                 ΔK.E = V*q

                                 ΔK.E = (7*10^-6)*(2*10^-3)

                                 ΔK.E = 14 nJ

- The gain in kinetic energy is 14 nJ.
