QUESTION 1:
*The endocrine system
is composed of all organs that have a function of secretion of hormones. These hormones are secreted "on demand" due to a stimulation (nerves or other).
*The integumentary system (tegmentum meaning cover) represents a biological tissue lying between the internal and external environment. it provides a protective function.
*An organ is called "sense organ" when its action results in a sensory perception. In humans, the eyes, nose, tongue, ears, and skin are the sensory organs of the body. The sense organs are associated with the integumentary system to receive the information from the environment and can transmit it to the endocrine system through the nervous system, and by the way, hormones will be secreted depending on what the sense organs percieves (fear, pleasure, astonishment)

QUESTION 2:
ROLES OF THE RADIOLOGY:
Radiology refers to all the diagnostic and/or therapeutic acts that use X-rays. These are minimally invasive rays for the body that provide accurate images of bones, muscles, and tissues. which constitute the human body.Radiology can identify and analyze a wide range of injuries and diseases. Conventional radiology can accurately diagnose bone fractures and deformities. Ultrasound, for its part, allows the analysis of "soft" tissues. It is used to diagnose vascular or cardiac disorders, monitor a pregnancy, or identify certain muscle trauma.

ROLES OF THE NUCLEAR MEDICINE:
Nuclear medicine is an imaging technique that combines all uses of radionuclides (in the form of "unsealed sources") for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. It is a functional imaging technique that consists of administering a radioactive tracer to the patient and then detecting the radiation emitted. The examinations carried out are scintigraphy (gamma radiation emission) or PET (PET: Positron Emission Tomography) examinations.

Which term matches this definition? Treating all human blood and other potentially infectious material, as if known to be infect
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

The correct answer would be option C, Universal Precautions.

Explanation:

Treating all human blood and other potentially infectious material, as if known to be infectious, for bloodborne pathogens is called as Universal Precautions.

Now here it is important to know what bloodborne pathogens are. These are actually the tiny organisms, called as micro organisms, which cause illness or diseases in the human body. These are infectious microorganisms. The diseases caused by these infectious microorganisms may include Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. This type of disease may transfer from one human to another by the exposure of blood through sharp needle like structures or injections, etc.

So all blood must be treated before donating or transferring to other humans and this is called the Universal Precautions.
