Steps for solving:

1. First you want to simplify the left side by distributing the 7 through both of your terms inside the set of parentheses.

2. This leaves us with 7c + 28 - 19 = -26

3. We can simplify one step further on the left side

by subtracting 28 - 19 to get 9.

4. So we have 7c + 9 = -26.

5. Now subtract 5 from both sides to get 7c = -35.

6. Finish things off by dividing both sides by 7 and we find that c = -5

The product of two consecutive numbers is 182
kupik [55]
2 consecutive numbers....x and x + 1

x(x + 1) = 182
x^2 + x = 182
x^2 + x - 182 = 0
(x - 13)(x + 14) = 0

x - 13 = 0
x = 13

x + 14 = 0
x = -14....not this one because it is negative

x + 1 = 13 + 1 = 14

ur 2 numbers are : 13 and 14

a bricklayer needs to order 6300kg of building sand.one grain of this sand weighs 7x10^-5. how many grains of sand are there in
gavmur [86]

Answer:

44.1 x 10^-2

Step-by-step explanation:

Since one grain

= 7 x 10^-5

6300kg = 7 x 10^-5 x 6300

Put 6300 in standard form

7 x 10^-5 x 6.3 x 10^3

Multiply the whole numbers and add the exponents

7 x 6.3 x 10^-5 + 3

44.1 x 10^-2

There are 44.1 x 10^-2 grains of sand in 6300kg

A consumer has $100 per day to spend on product A, which has a unit price of $7, and product B, which has a unit price of $15. W
kifflom [539]

Answer:

-15/7

Step-by-step explanation:

Let B(x1, y1) be on vertical (y-axis) then B = (0, 15) and

A(x2, y2) be on horizontal (x-axis) then A = (7, 0).

Now, slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

then slope = (0 - 15)/(7 - 0)

=> slope = (-15)/7

slope of the budget = -15/7
