I’m a bit confused about it, but I think you mean how many orbits or revolutions. Given that the iss orbits earth every 90 minutes, in 24 hour day the iss orbits approximately 16 times.

1.a baseball hits a home run, according to Newton's laws of motion which of the following statements could be true in this scena
Fittoniya [83]

Answer to Q1:

The correct option is bat pushes on the ball with the same force as the ball pushes on the bat.

Explanation:

According to Newton’s law action and reaction are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction so the same case will apply here. The bat pushes on the ball with the same force as the ball pushes on the bat just the direction is opposite.

Answer to Q2

Mass will remain the same

Explanation:

The gravitational pull is related to the weight of objects. Weight is the force with which earth attracts everything towards its centre. And mass is the quantity of matter inside the body. So on the moon the quantity of matter inside a body does not change therefore the mass would remain the same.

Answer to Q3

Force required is 16 Newton

Explanation:

Mass= 80 kg

Acceleration = a = 0.2

So F = ma

Putting the values

F= 80 x 0.2

F = 16 N

What information and measurements would you need to calculate the rate of movement?
aliina [53]
When you talk about rate, you will expect that it will be in terms of a time unit. It measures how fast it is going. So, you would expect that the denominator is in time units. For the movement, you can measure this with either distance or velocity.

So, for the first variety, you would need distance and time to measure the rate of how far you go at a certain time. It is also called as velocity. For the second variety, you would need velocity and time to measure the rate of how fast you are going at a certain interval. It is also called as acceleration.

How much heat is absorbed by 41 g iron skillet when its temperature varies from 9°C. to 20°C
alexgriva [62]

Answer:

202.95J

Explanation:

The formulae for the energy absorbed by the iron skillet is;

q=m*c*ΔФ where q=energy absorbed, m is mass of iron skillet, c is specific heat capacity and ΔФ is change in temperature

Given that;

m= 41g

ΔФ=20°-9°=11°

c=0.45 J/g°C

q= 41×0.45×11

q= 202.95 J
