Explanation:

Given that,

Acceleration of the treadmill, a=4.7\times 10^{-3}\ m/s^2

Time, t = 5 min = 300 s

Acceleration is given by :

a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}

(a) (v-u) is the change in speed.

v-u=a\times t

v-u=4.7\times 10^{-3}\times 300

v-u=1.41\ m/s

So, the change in speed of the treadmill is 1.41 m/s.

(b) Initial speed of the treadmill, u = 1.7 m/s

The final speed is given by using equation as :

v=u+at

v=1.7+4.7\times 10^{-3}\times 300

v = 3.11 m/s

Hence, this is the required solution.

V1 - v0  = at

= 4.7  x 10^3 m/s^2 x 300s

= 1.4 x 10^6 m/s

hope this helps

If a microwave oven produces electromagnetic waves with a frequency of 2.30 ghz, what is their wavelength?
vovikov84 [41]

Answer: wavelength is 1.30 \times 10^8 nm.

The frequency of the microwave is, f = 2.30 GHz.

To Find frequency use the formula:

c=fλ

Where, c is the speed of electromagnetic wave or light. f is the frequency, and λ is the wavelength of light.

Rearranging, \lambda = \frac{c}{f}

Plug in the values,

\lambdam = \frac{3 \times 10^8 m/s}{2.30 GHz\frac{10^9 Hz}{1 GHz}}=0.130 m\frac{10^9 nm}{1 m} = 1.30 \times 10^8 nm.

A small logo is embedded in a thick block of crown glass (n = 1.52), 4.70 cm beneath the top surface of the glass. The block is
harkovskaia [24]

The concept required to solve this problem is the optical relationship that exists between the apparent depth and actual or actual depth. This is mathematically expressed under the equations.

d'w = d_w (\frac{n_{air}}{n_w})+d_g (\frac{n_{air}}{n_g})

Where,

d_g = Depth of glass

n_w = Refraction index of water

n_g = Refraction index of glass

n_{air} = Refraction index of air

d_w = Depth of water

I enclose a diagram for a better understanding of the problem, in this way we can determine that the apparent depth in the water of the logo would be subject to

d'w = d_w (\frac{n_{air}}{n_w})+d_g (\frac{n_{air}}{n_g})

d'w = (1.7cm) (\frac{1}{1.33})+(4.2cm)(\frac{1}{1.52})

d'w = 4.041cm

Therefore the distance below the upper surface of the water that appears to be the logo is 4.041cm

A student uses the right-hand rule as shown.
Kipish [7]

Answer:

right is the correct answer to the given question .

Explanation:

In this question figure is missing

The main objective right-hand rule to decide the position of the magnetic force on the positive force acting, either the position of the thumb of a right hand with in position of v, the fingers throughout the position of B1, and a right angles throughout the position of F1 to the hand positions.

So    F1 \ =\ q\ v \ B1\ Sin\alpha

  • So from the magnetic right hand rule the direction of the magnetic field in front of a wire is right .
  • All the others options are incorrect because they do not give the direction of the magnetic field in front of a wire is right .
