The resistivity of tungsten can be determined using the empirical equation
Rw = 48.0 (1 + 4.8297 × 10^−3 T + 1.663 × 10^−6 (T^2))
Input the temperature to get the resistivity

For aluminum, you can look for the empirical equation for its resistivity but what is available is a graph between resistivity and temperature. Simply use the graph to determine which temperature will result to the same resistivity of tungsten at 24 C.

What type of energy waves are used in Solar Cells, and what is it’s position on the electromagnetic spectrum?
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer: Electromagnetic waves (Ultraviolet light, between 100 nm and 380 nm)

Explanation:

Solar cells work by the photoelectric effect, which consists of the emission of electrons (electric current) when light (electromagnetic waves) falls on a metal surface under certain conditions.

In this sense, the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum this cells use is Ultraviolet light (UV) from the Sun, whose wavelength is approximately between 100 nm and 380 nm.

It is important to note, this is a type of electromagnetic radiation that is not visible to the human eye.

Help me please, it's so hard
fomenos

Answer:

4.58×10²³ atoms

5.94×10⁻²¹ J

1340 m/s

Explanation:

Use ideal gas law to find moles of gas.

PV = nRT

(1.266 atm × 101300 Pa/atm) (4/3 π (0.15 m)³) = n (8.31451 J/mol/K) (14 + 273) K

n = 0.760 mol

Use Avogadro's number to find number of atoms.

(0.760 mol) (6.02214×10²³ atom/mol) = 4.58×10²³ atoms

Average kinetic energy per molecule is:

KE = 3/2 kT

KE = 3/2 (1.38066×10⁻²³ J/K) (14 + 273) K

KE = 5.94×10⁻²¹ J

RMS speed of each atom is:

KE = 1/2 mv²

5.94×10⁻²¹ J/atom = 1/2 (0.004 kg/mol) (1 mol / 6.02214×10²³ atom) v²

v = 1340 m/s
