For a better understanding of the question, please see attached picture that I've created.
We need to identify the other two angles by applying the Law of sine where we are given with the following values:
a = 3.2 unit
b = 2.4 unit
c = 4.6 unit
∠A = unknown
∠B = unknown
∠C = 110°

Solving for ∠B, we have:
sin C / c = sin B / b
sin 110 / 4.6 = sin B / 2.4
sin B = 2.4*sin 110 / 4.6
B = 29.36°

Solving for ∠A, we have:
sinC/c = sinA/ a
sin110 / 4.6 = sinA / 3.2
sinA = 3.2*sin110/ 4.6
A = 40.82°

Therefore, the missing angles are ∠A=40.82° and ∠B=29.36°.

A NASA explorer spacecraft with a mass of 1,000 kg takes off in a positive direction from a stationary asteroid. If the velocity
Jet001 [13]

Before the launch, the momentum of the (spacecraft + asteroid) was zero.  So after the launch, the momentum of the (spacecraft + asteroid) has to be zero.

Momentum = (mass) x (velocity)

Momentum after the launch:

Spacecraft:  (1,000 kg) x (250 m/s) = 250,000 kg-m/s

Asteroid: (mass) x (-25 m/s)

Their sum:  250,000 - 25(mass) .

Their sum must be zero, so  250,000 kg-m/s = (25 m/s) x (mass)

Divide each side by  25 :  10,000 kg-m/s = (1 m/s) x (mass)

Divide each side by (1 m/s) :  10,000 kg = mass

A spaceship orbiting earth flies to the moon. How is the gravitational force pulling on the spaceship related to the distance th
ad-work [718]
The correct answer is "<span>As the distance from the earth increases, the gravitational pull on the spaceship would decrease."

In fact, the gravitational force (attractive) exerted by the Earth on the spaceship is given by
</span>F=G \frac{Mm}{d^2}
where G is the gravitational constant, M the Earth's mass, m the mass of the spaceship and d the distance of the spaceship from the Earth. As we can see from the formula, as the distance d between the spaceship and the Earth increases, the gravitational force F decreases, so answer D) is the correct one.
